Hello, I'm Kim.
I live at the bottom of an country lane, in a cottage betwixt woods and fields. The best of times are spent enjoying the local countryside on long walks with my husband and dog.​

My picture books are nature themed, with attention to rare plant species from the U.K. and fascinating, often endangered, creatures from around the world.
These are gentle stories with a big message: about the need to protect our planet.
Kim's Story
Kim Mackenzy Andrews is has been writing and illustrating children’s books in her head for over twenty five years, since she first started her career in teaching. She holds Masters’ degrees in both Education Management and in Contemporary Art History.
Kim started putting pen and paintbrush to paper for fun, for more years than she likes to admit, and after much blood, sweat, toil and tears, a selection of her books are published.
